Remembering Bernice PIGOTT

A wonderful woman is gone. Nurse Pigott was totally devoted and committed to the struggle for better management of sickle cell disease (SCD) in Antigua & Barbuda. After serving with great humility as the President of Sickle Cell Association of Antigua & Barbuda for many years, she recently passed the baton to Dr. Edda Hadeed.

We will miss her and we will continue the fight to improve the lives of those affected by SCD.
Sincere condolences to her family and to the Antiguan sickle cell disease community.
