La SCiF conf\u00e9rence sera \u00e0 nouveau organis\u00e9e conjointement par le National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) et l&rsquo;Universit\u00e9 Carib\u00e9enne des West-Indies (UWI). Les membres jama\u00efcains de CAREST, les professeurs Jennifer Knight-Madden et Monika Asnani, sont tr\u00e8s impliqu\u00e9s dans l&rsquo;organisation et une pr\u00e9sentation intitul\u00e9e \u00ab\u00a0Caribbean Initiatives : CAREST\u00a0\u00bb sera pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e par la pr\u00e9sidente, Marie-Dominique Hardy-Dessources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La SCiF conf\u00e9rence attire un large public de cliniciens, d&rsquo;universitaires et d&rsquo;autres professionnels de la sant\u00e9 impliqu\u00e9s dans la recherche sur la dr\u00e9panocytose dans le monde entier, ainsi que des patients et leurs familles. Pendant deux jours, la conf\u00e9rence de cette ann\u00e9e abordera les aspects multifactoriels de la dr\u00e9panocytose et favorisera la diffusion des derni\u00e8res informations scientifiques et cliniques li\u00e9es \u00e0 la dr\u00e9panocytose via des s\u00e9minaires innovants et des d\u00e9bats interactifs.
